Top Fuel 8 fuses the lightweight efficiency of a cross country bike with the capability and forgiveness of a full suspension trail bike. It's quick and nimble, and dishes out serious fun on flow trails and techy descents alike.
You?re looking for a do-it-all full suspension mountain bike that balances efficiency with shred-ability. You want to rip rough descents, fly up climbs and even do a couple XC races.
A lightweight aluminium frame, 120 mm RockShox Recon Gold RL fork with plush DebonAir spring, 115 mm of rear travel with a FOX Performance Float shock and a lighter SRAM NX Eagle drive train. Plus, hydraulic disc brakes, Bontrager DropLock dual remote suspension lockout and a Bontrager Line Dropper.
Top Fuel 8 gets you the value of an alloy frame with drive train, fork and brake upgrades that keep up as you progress in speed and skill.
- This short-travel bike has a killer suspension set-up reminiscent of the all-mighty mullet ? it's both efficient and ready to party
- Bontrager DropLock's shifter-style lever lets you easily lock out both front and rear shocks at the same time for added sprinting or climbing efficiently. Plus, it controls your dropper post too
- Mino Link lets you make small adjustments to your geometry quickly and easily, even mid-ride
- You get a Straight Shot downtube for extra-stiff, responsive handling without added weight and a Knock Block headset that protects against spinning bars and fork crowns
Will my bike have a curved top tube?
Smaller frames (S) have a top tube that dips down as it approaches the seat tube. This design makes for a lower standover height, which is good for shorter riders because it allows them to straddle their bike more easily. The larger frames (M and ML) have a straight top tube because taller riders with longer legs typically don?t have the same issues with standover height.
Active Braking Pivot
Active Braking Pivot allows our engineers to tune how the suspension reacts to acceleration and braking forces independently. That means you get more confident control when you need it most.
Straight Shot downtube
Straight Shot downtube gives you an extra-stiff frame without adding any weight, so you can stick your line through the rough stuff and still fly up the next climb.
Knock Block has your frame's back when things go wrong. It prevents your handlebars from spinning all the way around in a crash, so your hoses won't get yanked and your controls won't hit the top tube.
