A custom bike dream come true

I have been in the cycling industry for 12 years and have been very fortunate to try out many different bikes. The bike that has eluded me until now was the perfect hardtail. There are lots of cool hardtail made here in the UK but mostly the hardcore hardtail variety and I have no shame in saying I am an XC boy so 160mm travel is too much for me, I like to feel the trail beneath my tyres. So here is my Fat Chance Yo Eddy from Portland USA. Chris Chance is the frame builder and he made some of the most successful XC bikes back in the late 80s and early 90s. He went away for some time but now he’s back making these incredible frames, which I had to have in my collection.

We do not sell Fat Chance however we love building custom bikes so if you see something interesting and you want to talk to people who understand bikes, give us a shout, we can help. info@ride-bikes.com
